Case Studies
The following case studies help illustrate how 3NET MEDIA's online solutions have been utilized by a broad range of companies and organizations.
Associations
Client: Canadian Veterinary Medical Association
Solution: By using this configuration of Community Server, associations and other
membership-based organizations can dramatically improve the value of service they
provide to their members.
The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association is a good
example of an implementation of Community Server for Associations.
We built two sites for them (CVMA & Animal Health Care) on the Community Server platform: a
membership-based site that helps members share information with each
other and reach out to their customers, and a public site, aimed at their
membership’s market, promoting their work and driving more business to their membership.

Government Client: Computers For Schools
Solution: This configuration of Community Server makes it the ideal tool
for quickly and cost-effectively implementing sites that are fully compliant
with the federal government’s common look and feel initiative. Once implemented,
Community Server’s Administration Console makes it easy for non-technical users
to manage the site and keep information up-to-date, significantly lowering the cost of ownership for budget conscious departments.
The Computers for Schools Web site is a good example of an implementation of Community
Server for Government. Not only did we build their Web site on the Community Server
platform, we also built a Web application to accept, track and manage the requests for
computers from schools all across Canada, as well as all donations of hardware and software.

Community
Client: Urbanwave
Solution: Urbanwave.com is one of the most comprehensive online communities in Canada. This site demonstrates a variety of 3NET MEDIA's web technologies such as instant messaging and personal web pages with video and voice capabilities. Why the emphasis on building a community? Community users view up to 5 times as many pages and return 85% more often than non-community users, communities are 93% stickier than non-community enabled sites and community users are converted to shoppers 50% more often than non-community users. Websites such as urbanwave can enable companies to cost-effectively build and develop their online brand while providing their audience with a fun, free interactive online experience.
